I finally got Kayed to daycare at a reasonable hour of 9 am. Normally I'm uber late bringing him there closer to 10.
Well three of the toddlers saw me coming up the stairs with him and ran to the front door and started jumping up and down. The ones who could talk were shouting "the baby is here". It was really cute. Even Diego the troublemaker was jumping up and down and smiling.
I could barely get in the door because Noe, the assistant daycare provider's son, who is about 20 months wanted to help me carry the baby in. He tried to take the car seat by its handle. And then when I put the car seat down he wanted to get the baby out. So I let him touch the straps like he was helping. As soon as I undid the straps he tried to pick the baby up. It was adorable. So I picked the baby up and let him feel like he was holding him. He gave him a big hug and a kiss on the belly. It was adorable.
Kayed probably went right to sleep after that. It was 9 am and he had been up since 4 am with no nap.

My son is amazing
He just put himself to sleep!
Love this munchkin.
He also rolled to his tummy and then back. Hopefully he can do that at 2 in the am so mommy doesn't have to rescue him.

4th month check up
I should be better about putting an update on here every so often. But I'm here now and I do out at least one photo up in the cloud a day. See a previous post for the link or email me
He's 18 weeks, so 4 months on the calendar. He measured in at 14 lbs 5.5 oz. For a formula fed baby he's right on the track for the 25th percentile but as a Breast fed baby he's 50th. His head is in the 90th, Bingo has a big brain.
He's developing nicely. Nothing is out of sorts. His super smelly farts means he might be a bit more constipated but just something to be aware of for when he starts solids at 10 months. The pediatrician thinks it's great I'm not in a rush to introduce solids and that I want to keep him soley on the boob until 10 months. Sorry to all those who want to feed him baby food. That will have to wait a bit.
He giggled through the whole exam too.
He did cry during the vaccines. No surprise there. But after he nursed and took a long nap.
I did give him a little Tylenol and he's a hair fussy playing so let's see how the rest of the day goes.
